Fran Kersch has been a PT
since graduating from
New York University in 1987.
Her interest and training is in
osteopathic manual therapy
and movement/postural
re-education techniques.

Initial sessions are geared towards establishing a relationship
between therapist and patient which insures optimal communication,
mutual responsibility for wellness, and clear goals for therapy.
Sessions are generally one hour in length and address a wide variety
of chronic and acute conditions. Patient load has included those with musculoskeletal dysfunction, headaches, digestive and respiratory
problems, cancer, and more. Sessions are geared towards regaining
skeletal and soft tissue alignment and mobility, followed by
developing new ways of moving which are more efficient and
less prone to injury.

Finally, the patient is invited to begin moving in one of the classes
at Fusion in a carefully supervised setting, to encourage more
independent exercise and maintenance of a healthy body and mind.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor's Degree
in Physical Education from the California
State University of Sacramento in 1990.
In 1992, she graduated from Children's
Hospital of Los Angeles/Chapman
University with a Master's Degree in
Physical Therapy.

As a physical therapist, Lisa shows a
seasoned understanding of the skills
required to assist the healing process.
She focuses on manual therapy,
individualized exercise, prescription,
and education in the prevention of further dysfunctions.
